No foolin'

Ahhhh April.

The birds are awake and the garden is not far behind. The last of the snow is gone from our yard and enormous sunbeams are pouring in through the windows this morning. Last night we heard peepers in the creek for the first time this year. The sound always stops us dead in our tracks. We'll hit 50 degrees today and the sun is out in full force. Did I just hear the earth breathe one giant collective sigh of relief?

I managed to make it through the 1st without finding my entire studio gift wrapped or filled with balloons. Phew! Some of my colleagues were not so lucky. At an auction on Friday I arrived to find this lovely sight: Turns out it's actually a charity fund raiser in disguise as an April Fool prank (or is it the other way around?). All proceeds go to help those in need. Pretty clever potty.

We've got another busy week ahead with the added task of FINALLY dealing with our taxes. Ahhhh, April. Hope spring is on the way in your neck of the woods.
