Two Weeks

Tomorrow is two weeks since my foot surgery. I'm mostly free of pain except for the royal pain in my ass that's developing from sitting all day and the chaffing of the hard, rough cast against my shin when I'm on the knee scooter.

I am grateful for the sweet visits, the heaping plates of delicious food, the sweet flowers, tokens, cards, prayers and good wishes. I am ever grateful for my devoted K, who continues to care for me in the most amazing way.

I am trying to focus on the present, on my recovery and on this one thought...
