A Perfect Day

After a night of heavy rain and intensely strong winds we awoke to this.
Ahhhhhhhhhh. 80 degrees, light soft breeze, blue sky, sunshine
and no where to be today except where we want to be.

and what did we do? You have to ask by now?
We bypassed the front porch, fired up the GPS and ambled
up the west side of the lake to take in the antique show under
the trees on the town square in historic Bloomfield!

It was a lovely show with lots of cool and interesting items. We did more looking than buying but did
manage to score a lovely little tintype album.

Why, they even brought out the big guns for this show.
Well, actually they're there in the town square already but
somehow they really add to the ambiance.

After wards we allowed ourselves to ramble about the idyllic country roads until we got good and lost and then as if sent from heaven above we spotted a sign we simply could not ignore.I mean come on, how can you not got down
this driveway to see what lurks there?
We're talking Items of Experience (if you know what I mean).

OMG. These are my people. They had old stuff, rickety stuff, stuff hanging from the rafters, the clothes line, and in big piles on the ground. There was stuff I'd never seen before
and stuff that defied description.Oh my...

A little late for this sentiment don't you think?Good thing we don't have a barn. Just sayin'.
